"Proudly Serving Veterans" Pin and Cap Bag

During the 2007-2008-membership year, National COmmander Marty Conaster will award his National Commander pin to any Legion family member how sings up at least three new members. Any Legion family member who signs up six or more new members will receive a cap bag.

A "New Member is defined as any eligible person joining for the 2008 membership year who was not a member of The American Legion during the 2007 membership year.

National Commander Conasters goal is to recognize those in the Legion family who actively recruit new members into the world's largest veterans' service organization. To maintain the integrity of the National Commander's Pin and Cap Bag incentive program, only one fo each will be awarded per individual.

The certification form for this program may be submitted at anytime after August 30, 2007. Upon receipt, national membership staff will confirm the names and mail the pin and/or cap bag within three weeks. National Commander Conaster's pin and cap bag incentive will end on June 30, 2008 or when supplies are exhausted.
