Dear Legionnaires:

DEC Meeting:
Carson City Capitol Post #4 will be hosting the Nevada Department Executive Committee (DEC) Meeting November 16th & 17th. THis meeting will be conducted at the Veteran's Hall located at the corner of 2nd and Curry Streets. One block west of Highway 395.

Hotel Lodging
There has been a block of room set aside at the Carson Station for those Legionnaires that require lodging. Carson Station's number is 775-883-0900, press 0 for reservations. Please state that you are with the American Legion. The price for the room is $45 per night, plus tax and is good for both nights. This rate is good until November 1, 2007.

JR. Past Commander's Dinner
You are invited to a buffet dinner Friday evening November 16th to honor our Department's Jr. Past Commander, Tony Vaughn for a job well done. The dinner will be held at the Station Grill which is across the street from the Carson Station. No host bar at 6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm. Cost of the dinner will be $25.00 per individual. We do need ot have a head count so please R.S.V.P to John F. Warden Jr. at 775-887-8811 or you may send in your reservation with your remittence to:
